All AMD-Rotolok rotary valves are built for heavy duty requirements. With their quality features and many options, they meet the needs of most solids handling applications. Materials of construction are mild steel, cast iron, aluminium and stainless steel, with a variety of plating and lining alternatives available for abrasive applications.

The blowthrough seal is a development from the airlock, in that it introduces products into a conveying line. It offers high efficiency throughput with low pressure drop in a compact design.

FLAP VALVES

Double flap valves are suitable for discharging dry dust, powder granules and fibrous materials, while maintaining an effective seal. They are available in fabricated and cast construction, and can be operated by gravity, pneumatic or electric motors.

The flexible sleeve valve has the advantages of an inexpensive isolator that, with pneumatic or manual control, can provide variable feed. It can, if designed with a double sleeve, seal against pressures of 14kPa and can handle the finest powders. Various sleeve versions are available and in sizes from 150mm through to 300mm.
